The SotMESC was founded in 1989 by a group of BBS and Internet hackers and phreakers
out partying and having a good time. As the times changed though, so
did the SotMESC. After several extreme changes in the electronic
community, we formalized into a non-profit organization dedicated to
promoting privacy, security and freedom on the networks for all.
